Opening of Switzerland’s largest aerial cable car on July 20, 1974, with 2 cabins carrying a maximum of 125 passengers each Bettmeralp acquires Switzerland’s first cable car based garbage disposal truck
The garbage truck with its 7,200 kg (15,870 lb) unladen weight is directly attached to the cabin

Upper station rebuilt (improving passenger circulation)

Installation of automatic door operator for the side exit by Gilgen
