Opening of the 4-passenger aerial cable car Betten Dorf – Bettmeralp
For the first time, Bettmeralp is connected to the valley via aerial cable car

1958

Existing 4-passenger cabins rebuilt into 10-passenger cabins

1967

Existing 10-passenger cabins rebuilt into new 50-passenger cabins by Willy Habegger, Thun

1977

Both cabins replaced by Willy Habegger, Thun
Running gear 18 sheats (Habegger), cabins CWA model Nova

1979

All 4 track ropes replaced by Kabelwerke Brugg

1980

Drive control system rebuilt by BBC
Remote control and monitoring system rebuilt by Kündig

1983

Haulage and counter rope replaced by Schätti

1987

Maintenance of both cabins by CWA

1993

Electrical drive and remote control and monitoring system replaced
Brake control system replaced and new auxiliary drive installed by Kündig and Von Roll

1993 New radio system installed in the cabins (Telabo)
